Oricol Environmental Services is equipped to safely manage and dispose of all used Health Care Risk Waste and Hazardous Wastes.

We apply the same industry-leading customer service, standards and experience to the management of sensitive Health Care Risk Waste as we do to our heavily regulated hazardous waste customers.

Specifically, this refers to potentially contaminated or contaminated used COVID-19 related personal protective equipment such as gloves, masks and gowns.

Our Health Care Risk Waste disposal solutions include:

  • Appropriate container sizes and shapes, including biohazard labels, liners, packaging and signage
  • Flexible pick-up schedule, as well as the determination of the optimum location
  • Tracking of materials. From pick-up through to final safe disposal and certificate of safe disposal
  • Protocols for regulatory compliance

Keeping your reputation intact

Food and beverage manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and logistics facilities are just some of the industry sectors that rely on Oricol for complete peace of mind when it comes to secure product destruction.

Our shredding and recycling facilities ensure your company’s waste products are safely and securely disposed of and never reappear in any form in the marketplace.

And by recycling recoverable commodities from this process we’re helping you manage your company’s reputation by avoiding potential liability from off-spec products being resold in the market – and at the same time reducing its carbon footprint and diverting wastes from landfill.

All goods that are to be destroyed are placed in a designated area monitored by surveillance cameras, or you are given the opportunity to witness the process firsthand.

These may include, but are not limited to:

For added security, a recording of the process is made available on DVD, while a Certificate of Destruction confirming the safe destruction of the product is also issued to your company. Just another way we give you our assurance the job has been done . . . properly. And if you can’t come to us, we’ll bring our shredder unit to your premises, provided the correct electricity supply is available.

Oricol ensures the finite destruction of a wide variety of goods and products including:

  • wines, beers and non-alcoholic beverages
  • canned and packaged food
  • raw meat and poultry
  • packaged/branded retail products
  • non-hazardous medical products and toiletries
